Barely forty eight hours after the Delta police commissioner  Alkali Usman  advised  Deltans  on the need to be vigilant while driving during the ember period, operatives   of the state  police. Anti-robbery  squad  have  arrested four   suspected  car  snatchers, while  two  others   were  shot  dead.

The  suspects  were   said to have snatched  two vehicles at gunpoint in Warri were two were gunned down, while the four suspects was arrested by Delta police operatives  in far away Kaduna where the cars were to be sold.

After parading the four suspects and the lifeless body of the two suspects, two of the suspects spoke of their involvement.

Speaking   on   his   involvement,  the  prime  suspect  blamed it on unemployment, and that he was first arrested innocently before the recent arrest by the police.
                                                     
Meanwhile, according to the police public relations officer Celestina Kalu, the suspects would be transferred to the state capital  Asaba, before they would be taken to court for possible prosecution.
