As part of measures to ensure that women take their rightful place in the digital space. The European Union in collaboration with Stakeholders Democracy Network has organized a one-day roundtable engagement with the theme REDUCING THE DIGITAL GENDER GAP IN THE NIGER DELTA.

The event which was held in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital, brought together participants from diverse sectors including technology and policy makers. Speaking on the theme, the SDN and European Union project manager harp on equipping women with technology skills to boost their efficiency.
