PDP chairman blames indiscipline for party crisis
The south-west chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olorogun Edy Olafeso has declared that indiscipline on the side of individual member of the party has been a major cause of the crisis that rocked the party recently.
Olorogun Edy Olafeso made this statement while speaking with journalists in Akure, the Ondo state capital on the way forward for PDP after Alimodu and Makarfi’s face off.
Olorogun Olafeso said the victory for the Makarfi faction at the supreme court last Wednesday has presented the party another ample opportunity to reorganize and position itself for the task of developing the country politically and economically.
He posited that internal democracy must be allowed in the party and credible people should be encouraged to assume leadership status for the party to regain the people`s trust.
However, the PDP south-west chairman also bemoaned the style of governance the APC-led government has brought into the Nigerian society stressing the change the people of Nigeria expected was far from what they are getting.
