The independent national electoral commission (INEC) has pasted the credentials and other vital documents of all presidential candidates for the 2019 elections in all its offices nationwide.

In Oyo state, officials of the commission were seen pasting the credential on Thursday evening in compliance with the provisions of the electoral laws.

The resident electoral commissioner in the state, Barrister Mutiu Agboke who supervised the exercise said it was part of the preparation for the next year general elections.

Speaking on the essence of the exercise, the resident electoral commissioner stated that it would give an opportunity for public scrutiny of all the candidates adding that the action would also guide the commission towards ensuring the sanctity of the polls.

According to the resdient electoral commissioner, the same exercise will apply to all the governorship, national and state assemblies candidates for the next year general elections.
