Activists rate Ortom low, call last 4 years failure
As most states look forward to a new administration come May, 29. Some civil right activists and lawyers in Benue state have described Governor Samuel Ortom led administration in the last 4 years as a failure.
Speaking to Galaxy TV news in Makurdi, the activists explained that the 4-year policy document Governor Ortom promised to execute was a failure, stating that there is no single achievement one could lay hands on that he has performed.
Barrister Oscar Terhemen and Barr Justin Gbagir, civil right activities say less than 10% was of the policy are what was achieved the state is backward in terms of development, they, however, called on Ortom to appoint capable hands that will help him execute his policy for the next 4 years.
While they bemoaned the huge deficit the state has suffered under his administration in the last four years, the activist, urge him to appoint people with credible credentials that would help him move the state forward, stating that Benue despite the insecurity has not made progress.
