Police parade kidnap suspect in Ondo
Operative of the Ondo state police command have paraded a suspect identified simply as Usman Momodu believed to be part of the kidnap syndicate that abducted a traditional ruler, Oba Joel Daodu in the Akoko area of the state.
The traditional ruler was kidnapped by the syndicate sometime last month.
The commissioner for Police in the state, Hilda Harrison, while addressing journalists during the parade of criminal suspects at the police state headquarters on Igbatoro road, Akure, said the kidnap suspect was caught with some of the money paid as ransom for the release of the monarch.
