Osinbajo meets head of government agencies
Acting president Yemi Osinbajo has appealed to civil servants in Nigeria to ensure smooth implementation of government executive orders aimed at furthering ease of doing business in the country.
Professor osinbajo made the appeal at an interactive session with federal civil servants on government's plans to engender effective running of business across the country.
He said Until servants understand and execute the orders, government efforts may not succeed in eliminating bottlenecks hindering progress of the business environment.
Describing the executive orders as the cornerstone of President buhari's administration at galvanising needed economic development, the acting president urged public servants to ensure effective implementation of the initiatives.
Osinbajo said hardwork is the only key to taking the nation to an enviable position amongst countries of the world.
The sensitization was meant for civil servant and expectedly, Head of service of the federation, winifred oyo-ita recounted the ordeal of civil servant but promised that modalities were being fashioned out to resolve challenges facing them as a way of incentive to delivering on their mandates.
Other cabinet members see civil servants as important partners to achieving a conducive environment for business in nigeria-hence their call for unity of purpose to make business work in nigeria.
The theme of the session is: "The promotion of transparency and efficiency in the business environment in Nigeria. END
