Council chairman decries violation of environmental laws
The Chairman of AareLatoosa, local council development area of Oyo state, Hon. Adekunle Oladeji has decried the poor attitude of some residents of Ibadan to the environmental laws put in place by the state government.
Speaking with Journalists after the inspection of abandoned health centre and borehole located around the Oke Agala area of Ibadan, Oladeji stressed that the council would commence the enforcement of environmental laws where all violators would be dealt with.
On the abandoned facilities, the council boss lauded the initiative of members of the Oyo state House of Assembly on the directives that all council chairmen should complete all abandoned projects in their areas.
He assured residents of the council area of the determination of his administration to ensure equal distribution of dividends of democracy.
