Following its determination to give the people of Imo state quality healthcare services, the Emeka Ihedioha led administration says if has fully keyed into the national health insurance scheme.

The governor alongside his deputy in the company of other top government officials signed into the scheme at the government house in Owerri the state capital.

According to the commissioner health, the governor's approval of the scheme, civil servants in the state will compulsorily be keyed into the program to access quality healthcare services at very affordable price.

The scheme which has been in operation in the state for some time now did not get the patronage of the previous administration, experts believed that the decision of governor Emeka Ihedioha will elicit enrolment by civil servants and interested private individuals thereby placing the state among it pairs with good healthcare services for all.
