AFCON 2017: Egypt beat Morocco to book a spot in the Semis
Egypt finally ended it's 31 year winless jinx against Morocco, defeating the Atlas Lions by a lone goal to qualify for the semi-finals of the ongoing 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Egypt's only win in five previous Nations Cup matches against Morocco came in a 1986 semi-final on home soil and there was no better way to end the miserable run than a convincing win in AFCON 2017 quarter-final cracker.
Mahmoud Kahraba's late goal sealed another win for Egypt, thus ending Herve Renard' hopes of winning a third AFCON title.
Egypt will face Burkina Faso in the semi-finals in Libreville on Wednesday.
