Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker of the House of Representatives, has reportedly joined the 2015 presidential race.

It will be recalled that Tambuwal’s defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) caused a huge uproar in the political arena.

According to reports making rounds Tambuwal has picked up his presidential nomination and expression of interest forms, ThisDay reports.

Tambuwal joins his fellow APC aspirants who desire to contest for the presidency: Former military Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and the Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah

APC’s presidential primaries is scheduled to take place in December.
