Politicians support June 12 recognition as democracy
Frontline politicians in Ondo state have wave aside insinuations that the declaration of June 12 as democracy day by President Muhammadu Buhari is basically for political reason.
Point of argument of some Nigerians is that the decision is somehow belated because the present administration has less down a year to complete it`s first term in office.
Some politicians including a serving senator, Yele Omogunwa believed the development is worthy of commendations from all and sundry.
The counter argued that june 12 will forever remain a strong reference point in history of politics and governance in Nigeria.
