Fayemi swears-in two commissioners
The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has sworn in the first set of commissioners who will serve in the state's executive council for the next four years.
The Commissioners, Olawale Fapohunda as Attorney-General and Commissioner For Justice and Oladapo Kolawole as Commissioner for Finance had served as members of Fayemi's cabinet in his first administration between 2010 to 2014 in the same capacity.
Fayemi while making his remark enjoined the appointees to work for the success of the government while upholding the cardinal focus of his administration
He further called for calm from those agitating for even representation as he promised that appointment will be without any form of bias.
The ceremony was attended by Government functionaries, Traditional rulers, Permanent Secretaries and the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government, and Chief of Staff.
While reacting, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Biodun Omoleye and the Attorney General of the State, Olawale Fapohunda appreciated the opportunity to serve and reiterates their commitment to the success of the administration.
