Court dismisses certificate case against Kwara gov
Justice Adenike Akinpelu of an Ilorin high court has struck out the certificate forgery case brought against Kwara state governor, Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.
One Adekunle Olufemi had dragged AbdulRazaq to court alleging that the West African Senior School certificate he presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to contest the Kwara governorship election was forged.
The same Olufemi later filed a motion of withdrawal of the case even without the knowledge of his counsel, Oladele Lawrence.
At the resumed hearing on Wednesday, Olufemi told the court that he's withdrawing the case for his personal security.
Justice Akinpelu dismissed the case since the claimant said he was no more interested in the case.
