Bayelsa receives Unity touch
The Bayelsa state government have received the unity touch in preparation for the coming National Sports Festival billed for Abuja come December this year.
The Deputy Governor Rear Admiral John Jonah retired who received the touch on behalf of the state Governor Seriake Dickson from the zonal director Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports, later handed over the unity touch to Athletes who went on a parade.
Addressing the gathering of Athletes and sports administrators, the deputy Governor and the federal ministry of sports director spoke on sports as a unifying factor.
On his part, the state commissioner for sports spoke on their preparedness as an athlete express her views on lack of preparation.
This is the second time the unity sports touch will be arriving Bayelsa state, as the first time was in 2012 edition.
