Atiku visits Dickson, solicits support
Former Vice President and a presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has called on the Bayelsa state governor and the people of the state to join him in repositioning the country come 2019.
The former Vice President made the call when he led leaders of the party and former Ogun state governor, Gbenga Daniel who is his campaign director, on a visit to the governor in Yenagoa the Bayelsa state capital.

While soliciting the support of the governor, Atiku calls for a united force towards the 2019 presidential election.

On his part, Governor Seriake Dickson said the 2019 election will be a referendum on restructuring, as the former Vice President spoke in the same direction.

The visit was later shifted to the PDP secretariat where hundreds of party faithful gathered to receive the former Vice President who berated the APC led government and spoke on the need to change the change.

The visit by the former Vice President and leaders of the opposition PDP is part of the move to sell their manifestos to governors of the PDP-controlled states ahead 2019.
