As a result of its proximity to Rivers state which is currently experiencing fuel scarcity, residents of Warri in Delta state woke up this morning to experience long queues at various petrol stations in the city. Our Correspondent Dele Fasan went round the Warri metropolis and met some of the petrol stations not selling products, while the few ones selling had long queues of vehicles and plastic kegs. Some of the residents who spoke lamented the re-emergence of artificial scarcity in the Warri metropolis. Meanwhile, some of the petrol stations remain shut during the morning hours despite the believe by residents that they have full supply from the NNPC, which is an indication that the scarcity is artificial.
