Amosun Vows To Raise The Bar of Socio-economic Development

Ogun state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun has assured former leaders, elders and indigenes of the state not to lower the bar of socio-economic development in the state stressing that the next four years will characterised with numerous developmental initiatives.
 
Speaking during the Gala Nite organised by the state Government, which was attended by former leaders in the state, including Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Ernest Shonekan among others, the Governor attributed the modest achievement recorded by his government to the support and cooperation of the people.
 
‎It was a night of glamour, celebration and  gathering of who and who in Abeokuta, ogun state capital as prominent sons and daughters of the state converged on the June 12 Cultural Centre Abeokuta for the celebration of victory of Governor Ibikunle Amosun at the just concluded general election.
 
The event which paraded notable personalities including the former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Ernest Shonekan, Osun State Deputy Governor, Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, Sherifat Aregbesola, Alake of Egbaland‎, Adedotun Gbadebo among others.
 
In their goodwill messages, some of the invited guest, Including Oba Olugbenle, Oba Gbdebo, former military Governor of the state, Kayode Olofimoyin among others commended the forthrightness of the Amosun administration stressing that, in the last four years, Ogun state has witnessed tremedious change and progress.
 
In his remark, Governor Amosun commended the vision of his forebears who had steered the ship of the state at on time or the order‎ noting that, his administration is building on their foundation.
 
He assured the gathering that his government would not deviate from their vision adding that, his administration is committed to the development of the state.
 
Highpoint of the event was the cutting of the cake which was supervised by the former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the celebration dance by dignitaries at the event.
