No fewer than eight aspirants within the fold of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state have indicated their intention to occupy the seat of the incumbent Governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi.

It was gathered that among the contenders is the deputy Governor of the state, Moses Alake Adeyemo who is from Oke Ogun area of the state.

The secretary of the party, Mojeed Olaoya while receiving another member of the party from Oke Ogun, Dr. Olusola Ayandele who is also vying for the governorship seat said the party would provide a level playing ground for all the contestants.

Addressing the party leaders on his intention, Dr. Ayandele describd the party as a real progressive stressing that it has in the last
seven years impact positively on the socio-economic and political development in Nigeria.

He enjoined party faithful in the state to remain calm and continue to work for the progress of the party.
