The Nigerian Navy has arrested three suspected kidnappers in Kujama, a community in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state.

The kidnappers were said to have been apprehended in a black Toyota vehicle while trying to abduct a POS agent and a customer who was in his shop for a transaction.

An alarm was then raised and troops of the Nigeria Navy operating in a nearby checkpoint arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect before they could escape with their victims.

The apprehended suspected kidnappers have been identified as Kabiru Yusuf, Salihu Ibrahim and Naziru Haruna. They have since been handed over to the police for further investigation.

The rescued victims who were identified as Franklin Silas and Blessing Fada are now in safe hands as they are assisting the Nigerian police force with the investigation.
