Oyo state police command has commenced manhunt for the three-man gang that attacked the driver and police orderly of the Commissioner for lands in Oyo state on Wednesday.

Recall that the driver, Lukman Fabayo died while the police orderly identified as Atanda Muritala is now receiving treatment at the university college hospital Ibadan.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Shina Olukolu confirmed the incident adding that the commissioner for lands was not attacked as reported by some media houses.

He disclosed that his men have commenced serious manhunt for members of the gang who operated on a motorcycle.

Okukolu, therefore, read a riot act to okada riders in the state to henceforth begin to operate within the law adding that they should stick to carrying one passenger per trip.

The Commissioner called for more support from members of the public especially at this period promising that the command remains committed to the protection of lives of the residents.
