Osun state Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has paid a condolence visit to the two communities engulfed by communal crises in Obokun local government area of the state which has led many with varying degree of injuries and properties destroyed.

The governor expressed dismay over the unfortunate incident and promised to set up a panel of enquiry to investigate the immediate and remote causes of the crisis, adding that anyone found culpable of sponsoring or participating in the mayhem will be prosecuted. He urged indigenes and leaders in the communities to embrace writing petitions to express any dissatisfaction instead of resorting to violence, with a promise that his government will promptly do the needful at any time

The crises which erupted the two communities last Sunday over chieftaincy issue has left many with varying degree of injuries including police officers, however, the situation has been brought under control by the police and other security operatives.
