Ogun vigilantes debunks link with murder suspects
The Ogun State Command of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria has debunked media reports linking the security outfit to the alleged murdered of one Ahmed Obisanwo, a 400-level student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye.
Briefing newsmen at the VGN command headquarters in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, the state's commandant, Adedoyin Nureni said the three suspects Idowu Ayodele, Segun Ogunsanwo, and Akeem Salisu, are not members of VGN but So-Safe corps, a state-owned security outfit.
Nureni said members of the vigilante group of Nigeria are law-abiding citizens that have regards for the fundamental human rights of her citizen; and as such would continually see to the protection of lives and property.
