Makinde decries spate of violence during Kogi poll
Chairman of the People's Democratic Party Governorship Campaign at the recently concluded Governorship election in Kogi State and Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has condemned the spate of violence and electoral irregularities recorded during the last Saturday's election.
Makinde, while fielding questions from newsmen in Ibadan advised all stakeholders in the nation's electoral process to work concertedly in the interest of the common masses.
The Governor described the situation as unfortunate adding that the electoral system in Nigeria must be reviewed.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Makinde charged politicians not to work at cross purpose but must be ready to contribute their quota to national development.
