The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says the essence of playing crisis free politics in Nigeria is the remedy for an egalitarian society where the interest and aspiration of the masses count.

 The electoral commission advocate for a convivial atmosphere where electorate would be allowed to determine who leads them within a particular period for the well being of the state.

This was made known at a one-day stakeholders’ public lecture, held in Awka the Anambra state capital to admonished politicians to abide by the rules of playing politics without bitterness.

The Residents electoral commissioner for Anambra state Dr Nwachukwu Orji, solicits for a robust cooperation among political stakeholders to enable them have a rancour free governorship election primaries in the state

While commenting on the level of innovative prowess, introduced to correct errors recorded in previous election, the INEC administrative secretary, outlined the importance of the new innovation to correct some wrongs of the past.

Stating the module instituted that marks Anambra state the most secured place in the country, the Anambra state governor who was represented by Ikem Okeke, urged political parties to adhere by the rules and ensure they allow the wish of the people to prevail in the preceding election.

INEC seize the occasion to reveal that 31 political parties have indicated interest to conduct the Guber primaries for the 2017 Anambra state governorship election.
