A call has gone out to the Ogun state governor Dapo Abiodun to prevail on the Inspector-General of Police to order men of the Nigerian Police to return back to the streets following the rise of cult clashes in the state.

The Coordinator, Abeokuta North local government, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Akinyele Ogunpola made this call at the official inauguration of Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Abeokuta North local government chapter.

He said the recent EndSARS protest across the country which prevented the police to operate optimally has increased crimes especially cult clashes and robberies in Abeokuta, the state capital. 

Speaking on the socio-political group, Ogunpola said the group was established to propagate the activities of the state government and create awareness about APC.
