Governor Fubara Charges Lawyers to be Courageous
Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has charged legal practitioners to be courageous despite the threats they face in the discharge of their duties.
Governor Fubara made the disclosure in Port Harcourt the Rivers state capital, during the opening of the 2024/2025 legal year and re-dedication service at the Cathedral church of St. Paul’s Anglican Communion.
According to the governor, the legal luminaries must not be deterred despite the threats and harassment. He berated some legal practitioners over what he described as pacifying their pay masters.
