Nigeria's Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami, is being handed the Kemi Adeosun treatment, the blackmail that forced her resignation as Finance Minister in September 2018, a group has alleged.

Galaxy's Godfrey Eshiemoghie reports that an Abuja-based group known as the Joint Council on Civil Society and Religious Affairs said the report of alleged terrorist links levelled against the Minister, though weighty, were unfounded and malicious.

Speaking through a member of the Council, the group said Dr. Pantami is currently suffering what is referred to in Nigerian terms as the Pull Him Down Syndrome, a handy work of his detractors.

The group insists that the Minister has done well enough to continue, faulting calls and mounting pressure for his resignation.
