About 25 Almanjiris have navigated their way illegally from Sokoto to Ondo state.

Information has it that they were transported by one of the Dangote trucks supplying cement to Akure, the state capital.

When Galaxy News correspondent Lebi Joseph visited the spot where they were rounded up, the facilitator of the exodus of the set of Almanjiri, Aliu Garba revealed he has been bringing people of such status to the state several times and that this set are being taken to Ondo town.

Speaking on this development, the senior special assistants to the governor on special duties and security matters, Dr Doyin Odebowale and Alhaji Jimoh Dojumo said this type of movement is not acceptable especially this period of coronavirus pandemic.

The government team said the best thing they can do is to transport them back to boarder line where they came through into the state.
