Fayemi urged to serve the people
The Catholic Bishop of Ekiti diocese, most Revd Felix Ajakaye has charged the new governor if Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi to appoint the right people into the right places while adding that Fayemi's second coming is to serve the people.
Bishop Ajakaye said this on Sunday, October 21 at the thanksgiving service to herald the second coming into power of Kayode Fayemi.
He tasked the Governor to expunge pilgrimage sponsorship from his programs and use the money for the good of the majority.
In his response, Governor Fayemi noted that the only reason he ventured into politics is to serve the people.
He charged the people that the quest to rescue Ekiti State and restore its values is a collective responsibility.
