Dapo Abiodun Admonishes New Members on Loyalty, Discipline
Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has asked seven members of the Allied Peoples Movement and members of the state house of assembly who defected to the All Progressives Congress to make loyalty, responsiveness to the party hierarchy their watchword to ensure unity of purpose in the development of the state.
He gave the charge in Abeokuta, the state capital when he received the new members at the executive chambers of the governor's office in the state capital.
The new members who left the parties in the wake of the last general elections as a result of some unresolved internal crisis are now back in the fold.
With these new entrants into the party and members of the statehouse if assembly, the speaker assured that this will translate to more development and support for government policies and programme.
Addressing the new members, the governor assured them of inclusiveness as he enjoined them to be loyal, committed to the unity of the party and development of the state.
With this development, the All Progressives Congress has twenty-two members out of the twenty-six members at the state house of assembly
