Adamawa demands reinstatement of SGF
The government of Adamawa state has demanded the immediate reinstatement of the secretary to the government of the federation, Engr Babachir Lawan if not found guilty over the allegations labeled against him.
This was the resolution of the stakeholders in Adamawa state during the meeting convened by the All progressive Congress (APC) at the banquet hall of the government house in Yola, the Adamawa state capital
The stakeholders called on the Federal government to make public, report of the investigation panel set up to look into the allegations of financial misconduct.
The Adamawa State commissioner for information and strategy Ahmed Sajoh said the government of President Mohammadu Buhari has made tremendous progress interms of security, infrastructural development and the fight against corruption.
The Chief of Staff Abdulrahman Abba Jimeta said Adamawa State government will continue to support the fight against corruption and hate speeches by Buhari administration.
The senator representing Northern senatorial district Binta Masi Garba who spoke during the occasion called for the continued unity, solidarity and progress of the party at the local government, State and federal levels.
On his part, the deputy governor Engr Martins Nasir Babale who represented the state governor said Adamawa State has 100% support for president Buhari administration and will do everything to sustain it.
The Northern zonal chairman of the All progressive Congress Mohammed Abdullahi states that the gathering will unite the people of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
