The newly-promoted officers of the Oyo State Police Command have been advised to redouble their efforts and rededicate themselves to selfless service.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Chucks Enwonwu while speaking before the decoration of the newly promoted 31 officers of the command commended the Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu and the Police Service Commission for the recognition.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Enwonwu and the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde who was represented by the Executive Assistant on Security, Sunday Odukoya charged the lucky officers to see their promotion as a great challenge adding that they should rededicate themselves to selfless service.

Also, the Chairman of the Police Community Relations Officer, Oyo State Chapter, Pastor Peter Omofoye and some of the newly promoted officers promised to justify their new promotions.
