NUT cautions Delta government
In view of the No Work No Pay and warning directives by the Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, calling on the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) to stop intimidating students and teachers who intend going to school.
The chairman, NUT in Warri, Comrade David Akpeyi has said that no amount of intimidation will make them call off the strike.
Akpeyi made this known while speaking with newsmen in Warri on the union’s position after several calls for his arrest and the president of Delta school principals.
Speaking with select journalists in company of school principals, the NUT chairman and the president of Delta school principals spoke on the alleged intimidation by the state government.
