As part of the strategic directives of the Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla in ensuring that oil producing communities and the Nigerian Navy form a working synergy.

The Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base Escravos has organized a free medical, Educational Rhapsody and a first of its kind career talk to youths in shunning pipeline vandalism and all forms of criminality.

Four coastal communities namely Madagho, Arunton, Ogidigben and Ajudaibo benefited from the medical and Educational Rhapsody including the landmark career talk anchored by resource persons. The Commanding Officer Forward Operating Base Escravos Navy Captain Ikenna Okoloagu says the activities will strengthen the relationship between the Navy and the host communities in boosting oil production.

The resource person stressed on the importance of skills acquisition in educating the youths against pipeline vandalism as the Commanding Officer said it will help the youths shun illegalities.
