Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has reiterated his administration’s commitment to collaborate and give all needed support to security agencies in the state in order to continue to maintain law and order.

Governor Makinde stated this when he received The commandant general of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubaker Audi who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Makinde, acknowledged the impact of the NSCDC Oyo State command in maintaining peace and stability in the state, noting that the efforts of the NSCDC Oyo State Command have made Oyo state one of the safest states in the country.

While speaking about the security challenges facing the country, governor Makinde appreciated the efforts of security agencies in the country for doing more with less support, he however promised to donate two operational vehicles to the State command for seamless operation.

Earlier in his remarks, the commandant General of NSCDC Dr Ahmed Abubaker Audi lauded various security initiatives in the state, noting that Oyo State is now a state of significant change under Governor Seyi Makinde.
