No fewer than four persons lost their lives while 38 others sustained an injury in a road accident that occurred on Wednesday along the Oyo Ogbomosho highway.

The incident involved an articulated vehicle in a lone accident along Oyo – Ogbomoso road.

The accident according to eyewitness saw the driver of the long vehicle popularly known as trailer veered off the road.

It was learnt that immediately the vehicle veered off the road and somersaulted while attempting to dogged a pothole, people who hang on the vehicle were flung away and sustained injury.

Victims of the accident have been taken to hospital while the remains of the deceased have been deposited in a morgue.

Confirming the incident, the Sector Command, Frsc Oyo state command, Uche Cjukwurah said there were four casualties while several others were injured.

He said the auto crash involved a trailer with registration number KTN2tXJ.
