Edo GUBER: Obaseki, Adamawa Governor Berates INEC Over Collation Exercise
The situation room of the National campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party led by the Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki, his Adamawa and Taraba counterpart have berated the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, over what they described as illegally moving the collation of results to the INEC headquarters.
This was made known during a media briefing at the headquarters of the situation room at the government house in Benin City the Edo state capital.
According to the Edo state governor, his visit to the INEC headquarters in the early hours of today was to seek information on the collation of results which INEC REC failed to produce.
On his part, the Adamawa state governor Ahmadu Fintri and the candidate of the PDP in Edo state Asue Ighodalo termed the collation exercise as illegal amid alleged shooting by thugs of the opposition party.
