Ogun state governor, DAPO ABIODUN has flagged off the reconstruction of the 14th km Ijebuode/Epe road to increase accessibility and improve the socioeconomic status of the state.

Turning the sod at a ceremony held at the Ijebuode end of the road, the governor said the reconstruction will be delivered within a year of its Flagg off.

The reconstruction and expansion of the road are being done through the private-public partnership and is expected to be tolled when completed.

Addressing residents which include traditional rulers from across the state, community, and leaders of thought, the governor said this is in fulfillment of his electioneering campaign aimed at improving the ease of doing business.

When completed, the  14km  road will be dual carriageway with six lanes on each side, it will be equipped with a standard drainage system, street lights, and a toll plaza.
