Activists says Buharis's anti-corruption war on course
As a result of the administrative crisis between the minister of state for petroleum Mr. Ibe Kachikwu and the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation(NNPC) Mr.Maikanti Baru , some rights activist have said that the issue will not affect president Buhari,s fight against corruption.
This is as a result of the level of reactions generated across the country on the allegations levelled against the NNPC group managing director by the petroleum minister.
Speaking on the differences, the immediate past chairman Committee for the Defence of Human Rights(CDHR) in Delta state Comrade Benefit Orugbo expressed his views.
On his part, a legal practitioner and rights activist warned against politicizing the issue as the rights activist urges Kachukwu to seek redress in the courts.
It will be recalled that the minister of state for petroleum Mr. Ibe Kachikwu had written a letter to the president blaming the NNPC group managing director for not following due process in the award of 26 billion dollars contract.
