Front line workers in Ogun state such as doctors, consultants, amongst others are not taking anything lightly by chance.
They converge for the 2021 Anual General Meeting with the theme, preparedness of 21st-century doctors in the management of pandemics in Nigeria with a focus on Ogun state remains apt.
Chairman of the occasion, Dr Sonny Kuku says Nigeria has been able to address the COVID-19 pandemic following how it handled the Ebola outbreak.
He further says all laboratories in Nigeria must be well protected.
Commissioner for Health in Ogun State, Dr Tomi Coker calls on residents of the state to take personal responsibilities for their health following the government's provision of vaccines.
On his part, the Executive Secretary, Ogun state health insurance agency, Dr Afolabi Dosunmu says if insurance schemes are well managed, government's resources can be used for other purposes as government cannot do it alone.
