EFCC Encourages Benue Youths to Unite Against Corruption.
Benue state zonal command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has called on Nigerians particularly the youths to unite and the support the anti - graft agency in its quest to rid corruption which has become endemic in Nigeria.
The zonal commander, Anslem Ozioko, made the call during a town hall meeting held in Makurdi, to commemorate this year's International Anti - corruption day with the theme: "Uniting youths against corruption, sharpening tomorrow's integrity."
The BENUE zonal commander of EFCC, who represented the executive chairman of EFCC, Mr Ola Olukayode, emphasizes that the future belongs to the youth and effort must be made to tackle corruption which may vitiate their future if handled with kid gloves.
Others speakers at the town hall meeting, task the youths on ownership of the fight against corruption to sustain their future, stating that the decadence of traditional values system is the leading causes of corruption in our society
Meanwhile the representative of youth and Special Assistant to Benue Governor on youth and illegal levies, Mr Terver Gbande, while commending the EFCC for the town hall meeting, says since the coming on board of the present administration steps have been taken to tackle social vices, promising to join effort with security and other stakeholders in tackling the menace of corruption
